We will also have 10-minute Tours of our exhibitions at 12:30 & 1pm, and a super fun creative project for everyone. And music! We will have awesome music, featuring DJ Steven Lee Moya.

Teacher Workshop
Planting the Seed of Creativity: Composite Floral Drawing
Stretching and layering complex renderings of composite plant species with drawing, sculptural, and digital tools, Leigh Anne Lester propagates new forms in Artpace's Window Works exhibition, Cultivated Divergence. Work with the artist to generate ways to nurture students' research, observation, and categorization skills in a hands-on lesson about engineering new flora species through art. Combining science, art making, and art history, this workshop explores the history of botanical illustrations, investigates plant species from diverse ecosystems and geographic regions, and teaches students how to gather and re-categorize plant forms in their own mixed-media plant drawings. Space is limited! Registration is $20; lunch and materials are included. To register, email education@artpace.org or call 210.212.4900.
