It’s Friday… the end of the work week, the beginning of the weekend. We’ve stocked up on Topo Chico and are celebrating at Artpace with chilled drinks and our Taco Truck-in-Residence, which pulls up to the courtyard at noon and takes lunch orders until 2pm. Join us for a quick bite of curbside cuisine and a taste of contemporary art. Cash only.

The 8th Annual Happening: ART IS AN ADVENTURE
Each year, Artpace unveils a creative twist to its Happening, and glamping—or glamorous camping—will serve as the theme for an evening that promises to demonstrate how experiencing art is a true adventure. Our 8th Annual Happening will commence with a glam cocktail hour, followed by an outdoor dinner encircled by Airstreams. As a seasoned explorer, you understand that campfire gatherings are the capstone to any adventure, which is why we’re topping off the evening with a dance party. Please consider joining our caravan and reserve your campsite now by committing to a table at the Saturday, April 6 fundraising event.

As a public charity, Artpace depends on the success of the annual Happening to sustain its free, dynamic programming. So we ask you to join us for an unforgettable evening that directly benefits Artpace’s residencies, exhibitions, and education efforts—and ensures Artpace continues to flourish. Artpace After Hours
Artpace After Hours takes adult audiences behind the scenes for casual art encounters and meaningful conversation. Come get acquainted with Artpace. Bring a friend. Or just make some new ones here. Mix, mingle, and maybe even find a new art crush.

We will walk After Hours guests through the Artpace building and our newest International Artists-in-Residence exhibitions by Tala Madani (Tehran, Iran), Adam Putnam (New York, New York, and J. Parker Valentine (Austin, Texas).
