Arranged at the beginning of each International Artist-in-Residence cycle, Potluck Dinners offer the chance to introduce new residents to the community-Texas style. The artists discuss their previous work and their upcoming Artpace project in an informal setting. Guests are asked to bring any dish that serves 12.

Every summer Texas artists are invited to submit material to be considered for a shortlist that will be reviewed by upcoming guest curators selecting resident artists.
