I-10: Traveling East
(from UTSA/Medical Center)

Exit to I-35 north. Take the McCullough Avenue exit. Turn right on McCullough Avenue and continue five blocks to St. Mary’s Street. Turn right onto St. Mary’s Street and continue for nine blocks to Travis Street. At Travis Street turn left or right to find parking or keep going for two blocks on St. Mary’s Street to College Street. At College Street turn left and the entrance to the Mid City Garage will be on the left.

I-10: Traveling West (from Houston)

Exit to I-37 north. Take the Commerce Street exit. Turn left on Commerce Street. Make a right on either Presa, Navarro, St. Mary’s, or Soledad for two blocks to find Houston Street. Go one more block on any of these streets to find parking options.

Hwy 281: Traveling South (from Airport)

Take the Commerce Street exit. Turn right on Commerce Street. Make a right on Presa, Navarro, St. Mary’s, or Soledad for two blocks to find Houston Street. Go one more block to find parking.

Hwy 281 or I-37: Traveling North (from Corpus Christi)

Take the Commerce Street exit. Turn left on Commerce Street. Make a right on Presa, Navarro, St. Mary’s, or Soledad for two blocks to find Houston Street. Go one more block to find parking options.

I-35: Traveling South (from Austin)

Take the McCullough Avenue exit. Turn left on McCullough Avenue and continue seven blocks to St Mary’s Street. Turn right on St. Mary’s Street. Continue on St. Mary’s Street for nine to Travis Street. At Travis Street you can turn left or right to find parking. You can also keep going for two blocks on St. Mary’s Street to College Street. At College Street turn left and the entrance to the Mid City Garage will be on the left.

I-35 or North I-37: Traveling North on (from Poteet/Jourdanton)

Exit I-10 west. Take the Durango Street exit. Follow Durango Street. Make a left on St. Mary’s Street. St. Mary’s Street will become Navarro Street (upon crossing Nuevo Street). Continue on Navarro. Convenient parking: turn left on College for the Mid City Garage or continue on Navarro to Travis Street. Turn either left or right on Travis Street to find additional parking lots.

Streetcar System

VIA’s historic streetcar provides convenient transportation within the downtown area, with streetcars arriving at stops every 10 minutes. The Red Line trolley services Houston Street. Bus Routes

Downtown San Antonio is an entertainment center that includes abundant parking. The following parking areas are within a 3-minute walk of the Chalk It Up venue on Houston Street:

Central Parking Lot

Located at Soledad and Houston Street, this privately operated parking lot is just one block west of Chalk It Up.

St. Mary’s Garage

Located at St. Mary’s and Travis streets, this city operated garage costs $6-10 for all day parking and is just one block north of Chalk It Up.

Mid City Garage

Located at the corner of Houston and Navarro (enter on College Street), this city operated parking garage costs $6-10 for all day parking and is immediately adjacent to Chalk It Up.

Metered street parking is available along Travis Street from Soledad to Jefferson.
