Clarissa Tossin (Summer 2013 International Artist-in-Residence) will take part in the upcoming exhibition Made in L.A., at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, California. Tossin’s contribution to the group show will include the Volkswagen Brasilia featured in her Artpace exhibition Brasília, Cars, Pools and Other Modernities. The show will also include new work by Tala Madani (Spring 2013 International Artist-in-Residence), and will run from June 15-September 7, 2014.
The Padiglione D’Art Contemporanea (PAC) in Milan, Italy, is hosting a retrospective of the work of Regina José Galindo (Spring 2008 International Artist-in-Residence), including a new performance, as well as new and existing works, entitled “Estoy Viva” (I am Alive). The exhibition has been selected as one of Artforum’s Critic’s Picks, and will run from March 25-June 8, 2014.
Micol Assaël‘s (Fall 2013 International Artist-in-Residence) Artpace work Maybe Tomorrow (Riley) will be exhibited at the Andrew Kreps Gallery in New York, New York, from May 15-June 21, 2014.
Prior to his upcoming Artpace residency, Kader Attia (Summer 2014 International Artist-in-Residence) will have a solo exhibition at the Galleria Continua in Beijing, China, opening on May 10, 2014.
Dor Guez (Fall 2012 International Artist-in-Residence) has been selected to curate an exhibition for the Arab Culture Festival in Haifa, Israel. Claire Fontaine (Summer 2007 Hudson (Show)Room) is among the artists slated to participate in the group show, titled Foreigners Among Us, at the Beit HaGefen Art Gallery in the Arab-Jewish Cultural Center, opening May 10, 2014.
