Artpace Chalk It Up: TeamWorks

Since 2004, Artpace’s Chalk It Up TeamWorks has involved over 8,800 educators, students, and community members, contributing 772 one-of-a-kind chalk murals across San Antonio and Downtown on the Chalk It Up footprint.

For its 20th year, Artpace San Antonio invites teams to participate in Chalk It Up 2023 and work collaboratively to complete original chalk murals representative of the theme: Dream Big!

Registration is free and open to any school or community group serving San Antonio-area residents. Local businesses, nonprofits, and community members are encouraged to participate as community groups. Team leaders will receive confirmation and a TeamWorks Handbook with additional details.

Dream Big!

In honor of the 20^th Anniversary of this beloved festival, Featured Artists and TeamWorks groups will create murals based on this year’s theme, Dream Big! Artpace’s founder Linda Pace created Artpace as a “laboratory of dreams” where artists around the world can create. Artpace decided to embrace and honor Linda’s dream by making dreams the focal point of this year’s festival.
