Artpace at Home: Virtual Studio Visit with Cade Bradshaw

6:00 pm - 6:45 pm
Artpace

As we practice social distancing and look for engaging ways to share art with you, Artpace is launching a virtual studio visit series as part of our #ArtpaceAtHome initiative. During the studio visit, you’ll get a glimpse into the artists’ studio, works in progress, and learn more about their studio practice.

Our next studio visit will be with Cade Bradshaw. Through our partnership with the San Antonio Independent School District, Cade is Artpace’s Artist Educator at Pershing Elementary School, where he teaches art to sixth graders throughout the school year. Cade is a visual artist and curated Artpace’s Fall 2017 Main Space exhibition, Lift: An Exhibition of Kites.

The virtual studio tour will stream on our Artpace Instagram Live.

About the Artist

Cade Bradshaw is a visual artist who believes art and science are interdisciplinary practices. While disparate on the surface, both require similar conceptual reasoning, experimentation, and play. Cade’s work explores our foundations for knowledge and perceptions of time and space. His work emphasizes that the most common elements of our daily experience may also be the most wondrous.
