Eat the Mouth That Feeds You by Carribean Fragoza was selected by International Artist-in-Residence guest curator Pilar Tompkins Rivas. The debut collection of stories reside in the domestic surreal, featuring an unusual gathering of Latinx and Chincanx voices from both sides of the U.S./Mexico border, and universes beyond.
Pilar Tomkins Rivas is Chief Curator and Deputy Director of curatorial and collections at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Specializing in U.S. Latino and Latin American contemporary art, she has organized dozens of exhibitions throughout the United States, Colombia, Egypt, France, and Mexico.
