Thomas Hirschhorn: Assemblage

Thomas Hirschhorn: Assemblage

This lesson will enable students to experiment with various found materials to create a monochromatic assemblage work of art. During this process students will question and criticize the use and application of everyday objects. Using common materials such as cellophane, aluminum foil, and cardboard students will design and construct a work of art in the style of Thomas Hirschhorn. Students can also incorporate text by assembling a wide array of pre-chosen and printed words.
