Hours of Operation:

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in San Antonio, Artpace is closed to the public until further notice. Please check back next week for more information.

Monday-Friday: 10am-5pm
Saturday-Sunday: 12-5pm

Our office hours are Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm.

Is an appointment required?
No, appointments are not required at this time. Walk-ins are welcome!

When is Artpace closed?
Artpace is closed New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter Sunday, Fiesta Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Can I schedule a tour?
Most visits to Artpace’s galleries are self-guided. Guided tours are available by appointment. If you are interested in receiving a guided tour for your school or organization, please contact amireles@artpace.org. Guided Tours include information about current open exhibitions, Artpace history, special programs, and upcoming events.

Can I have my event at Artpace?

Does Artpace support people with disabilities?
Artpace is wheelchair accessible. Large-print gallery notes are available upon request.

Our staff and guests’ safety remain our top priority, and we will be implementing social distancing and safety measures according to the most recent CDC, state, and local government guidelines including the Greater. SAfer. Together. Pledge.

These measures include:

  • Guests will require face masks at check-in
  • Guests must observe social distancing of 6 feet from other parties

Artpace has prepared a safe environment for our visitors and staff by:

  • Installing a plexiglass screen at our visitor relations and information desk
  • Installing an automatic door at the front entrance and keeping doors opened inside the building
  • Installing touchless faucets in the public restrooms
  • Providing hand sanitizer throughout the building
  • Scheduling common area sanitizing throughout the day
  • Implementing guidelines for onsite staff, including temperature checks, face masks, and distance requirements.
