Work Collaboratively

The Artpace Teen Council is a nine-month, paid program designed for San Antonio area high school students to become advocates for contemporary art and young leaders in their community. Teen Council members work with artists and administrators to develop teen programs, support Artpace events, and create community-based projects throughout the school year.
A student is eligible if they:
Mentorship with Artpace staff
Expand the bounds of creativity
Activities
Discover a creative practice through at-home experimentation with everyday objects.
Lesson Plans
Explore creative youth development with TEKS-aligned lessons inspired by artists and exhibitions.
Guided Tours
Guided tours are offered free of charge and include information about current exhibitions, Artpace history and programming, and upcoming events.
